I wonder if they are going to merge the BR 12-0 and the WS rewards. “Play the modes you want to play. To earn Signature Series Ted Williams, go 12-0 in BR or make World Series in ranked seasons!” For example.
It would help with the scarcity of the BR rewards, at least. And kind of streamline things a little bit. With all the new players I think they are going to continue to encourage the “play the way you want to play” mantra.
Also I think “all cards are grindable” has already been in place, right? You could achieve every card in 20 by just playing (or buy on the market). Technically that was already true. Yes you would have to be a very good player or accumulate a lot of stubs, or both. But it’s still true that every card was achievable

I am of the same mind. They may actually consider winning a BR run grinding. Hard to make assumptions without knowing their definition of grind.
Yeah. No way they make 12-0 cards available by just playing the CPU. While it would be cool to get those players; that will kill the market and there will be alot of backlash from the players that make their stubs that way.
Guess we'll find out tomorrow.
(Is it bad that I pushed my conference call from 6pm EST to 12pm EST so I can watch the stream without worry of background noise?)

Then there will be no reason to do BR . It’s way easier to make WS than go 12-0 so much luck is required where as to make WS is just time consuming.

I personally love the idea of moments, and I'd like to parrot another post I saw awhile ago on here in saying that it would be perhaps the coolest thing they could add (outside of stadium creator, which I can't wait for) if when you completed a moment, the game cut to audio/video of the actual moment or something similar. Something to make it seem more important and stress the historical relevancy and pertinence of the moment, which I feel is lacking in the current way moments are presented.

I personally love the idea of moments, and I'd like to parrot another post I saw awhile ago on here in saying that it would be perhaps the coolest thing they could add (outside of stadium creator, which I can't wait for) if when you completed a moment, the game cut to audio/video of the actual moment or something similar. Something to make it seem more important and stress the historical relevancy and pertinence of the moment, which I feel is lacking in the current way moments are presented.
I hear you man but I don’t think they care about all that lol. Moments is just another form to grind in the game it’s not supposed to be all that deep . but we shall see how much it’s changed or not in Tmm DD stream , I’m sure we will still have annoying Home run missions with guys with noodle bats and little to no power .

The more I think about it, the more it might be the same as before for cards, just different ways to get stubs and packs. Who knows though, great to speculate until tomorrow

Directional and Netflix that’s the moment grinding recipe lol. remember the Jackie Robinson moments last year ? still have nightmares on them suckers took crazy long .

I don't even remember how I did that stupid Forbes field HR one. I think I had to do everything but that to get Jackie. At least he stuck in my lineup for a few months until we got Finest cards.

That statement was huge. They know which players are sought after ad I think they want to make sure that the new player base coming in isn't turned off because they can't get Chipper or Vlad best card. I think what we know about DD is about to change in a good way

Highlights:

- No DH in DD "this year"
- Moments are back and are a "core feature"

- Attribute updates TBD (weekly or biweekly)
- No new pre-built stadiums (They're relying on Stadium creators to fill the voids)

Yes the idea of Moments is great. It’s the execution of that idea that ruins the mode.
