What cards are you making sure to get day 1

Imma grab Ohtani and grind through conquest ASAP with some dusty Jays and my choice packs.

Not entirely sure. Probably try and get a few upgrade potentials if not stupidly overpriced (which is likely).
Otherwise an Ohtani will serve well to start a team.
42 series wise...may buy a few extra preorder guys in addition to my selections. Otherwise a few of the TA42 guys look promising. Muncy rakes all the time for me. Alvarez probably solid. Xander/Bo. -

They mentioned showdown in the next gen stream so it’s back in some form but I’m interested to see what form it will take.
I hope they make it easier. If they need to make it "longer" by adding more mini bosses / moments so be it. But I consider myself a good (not great) player and it was so frustrating to get 0 TA vouchers when losing a heartbreaker in Showdown.
Some would take 45 mins to an hour and the RNG was cranked all the way up. Make it sort of a grindable thing not a luck / "all or nothing" type of situation.

I’m with you there. I didn’t really play much of the showdowns last year. Not because I didn’t want to but because the amount of time I can play is limited and I prefer not to spend that time wanting to throw my TV through the window!

Showdown was easy (steal cheese for the win ) they even made it easier later on with updates . with some experience and patience you shouldn’t have had much problems . I'm sure they will probably make it even easier this time around with Xbox players joining the fold.

My goal is to get Mike Trout on day 1, but we'll see how that goes. I've never finished the LS collection before, and if I get one of the biggest hurdles out of the way on day one, I may have a better chance.

The last 4 months was easy to finish the collection. I usually have it done by Jul. This year I have a new strategy to finish it by the end of Apr so we will see how that goes.

The best way to finish the collection is to flip cards. If Aaron is the Reward I differently want it done ASAP with out spending extra money. That means making time to flip cards

I could see them eliminating affinity showdowns or making them less rewarding. They were way too efficient last year for the time and rewards you got.

I liked the way it was later in the game. Starting with a man on second etc. But steal cheese might not work this year and I'm sure they patched it. It definitely wasn't easy. I could beat them at an 80% clip, but even the wins were rage inducing stressful.

Since the Giants won't have any diamonds and Bumgarner is likely a LS silver I will probably start with Jack Flaherty as my ace while grinding to his TA card and I always hit and defend well with Corey Seager so he'll likely be my first diamond buy this year day 1.

Every Year I LOVE Barry Larkin and Miguel Cabrera. I know they are not the best cards lol, but I will deffentally use them if they are out. In the 42 pack I am gonna pick Aaron and Ripken Jr. I will prob do the Rockies TA cuz they r my favorite team then I will defentally try and get stanton TA1.

Nah you can buy everything . only thing you really miss out on is the Jacky Robinson bat skin, unless if we can also sell that on the market it’s probably sellable though we shall see . and the doable daily log in rewards that come with the Deluxe and premium editions.
