Does anyone know how to do this ombre/rainbow effect with the letters in the logo creator? I've tried to do it in the past but failed miserably lol.

The "how" is easy. It's just the execution that's a pain.
- Create a couple hundred thin rectangles that increment RBG values. Stack them to create a background.
- Overlay the letter boundaries.

Why can't they just let us upload our own logos? I'm sure they're trying to cut down on inappropriate or offensive images, but last year I played a dude with swastikas on his jersey and whose CAP was hitler, so it's not like their current rules do anything anyway.

Copyright laws

I'm not sure about that copyright laws are the problem. In Gran Turismo Sport you can upload any logo you want to make liveries on cars and no company had a problem with it. Just McLaren (I think) didn't want logos of other companies on their F1 car, that was all

It's not copyright laws. Too many games have it that you can upload images. Nba, wwe games though they were both 2k. I'm sure it's due to the stupidity of the people uploading

Are you serious? Why not take screenshots?
I played EASHL once and one guys CAP name was along the lines of buying and selling black people, with the offensive name deliberately misspelled to pass through censors. I tweeted it to EASPORTSNHL. Swastikas is a whole nother offense that is so obvious. How does that get through censors? -

How does that get through censors?Yeah, thankfully it's not the norm, but it's definitely not uncommon to run into someone with hate speech on their uniform, team name, and/or CAP. I always report players but I never know if SDS or PSN does anything about it.
A couple years ago I played a guy whose CAP was a racial slur. I didn't want to waste my time playing someone who was obviously a toxic arizona d-bag, so I offered a FQ, he declined, and I just quit the game. I email SDS and told them they should reverse the loss on my RS record because it was their own filters that allowed that garbage to slip through. I got a (prompt, courteous) response back that said sorry but no lol.
