Mlb acct link on both consoles, XBOX X PS5

Hey SDS, could you tell us if our MLB accts will be linked up in both consoles, xbox and ps5? Like Call of duty that lets you link ur console accts so u can play the game on any console without losing any achievements... please answer, thanks

Yes, good question. My guess is 'no', yet I hope they will be. I have played on a ps4 before, yet now I'll be playing on my Xbox Series X this year.

Yeah, that is my take as well, as it looks like they authenticate on the back end to two different systems. However, they could create a tool, here, that would allow us to sync them fairly easily.

I hope they find a way to link them somehow. I’m going with the Xbox version, so I’ll lose the loyalty reward most likely. It’s not a huge loss obviously, but it would be nice to have.

Ramone Russell mentioned cross progression today on an IGN interview.

One of the devs (I think Collin) went into detail about how stubs would work with cross progression. He said that stubs earned in game would be available on both platforms, but purchased stubs would only be available on the platform they were purchased on. For example, I earn 10K in stubs from playing and buy $20 worth of stubs on PSN and add it to my account. When I log in on Xbox, only the 10K in stubs from playing would show.
I don't see how that could possibly work without some kind of unified account across both generations and platforms.

Man I hope so. I've played on PSN but I'm going to my home system this year. I'd love to have my loyalty rewards from past years. But if not I'll survive I guess.
