Contracts in Diamond Dynasty

Like in other games like the ultimate team game modes in games like madden's HUT and NBA 2k, where the contracts expire after a specific time i use the player, is there contracts like where i have to apply to every game i play or something like that.
Just wanted to ask that because i am not sure at all. Pls let me know and tell me so i know more about it. But for now i'm confused -
No contract in DD. Thank God!

No contracts, no training, and only one in game currency! It’s a beautiful thing

By far one of the best parts of this mode is no contracts. Hated them for all of the modes

With no contracts(I'm a 2k player so I had no idea) I'm more inclined to spend in the auction for the few guys I really want. I can't wait to see how the auction works and the pricing for players. I heard buying packs isn't smart so I'm hoping the digital diamond pre orders net something valuable.

The market is very easy to use once you get the hang of it. Stay away from any packs that aren't free. Only chance you have with those is if you get really lucky

SDS, I sincerely hope that you never bring contracts to Diamond Dynasty. It is the most obvious microtransaction scam and is the sole reason that I, and so many others, stopped buying 2K and Madden.

Iirc they were a feature in 14. Abandoned in 15.

There used to be contracts in DD and it was horrible.

Even NHL HUT got rid of them this past season. Seems people are going the opposite direction on those which is great. Maybe in another year or two no games will have contracts as it really just ends up being a big waste of time.
