Conquest Issue

I have conquered all the strongholds in the USA map and I received the Willie Mays rookie card. I am now trying to conquer every single hexagon to complete the map. However, the Giants hexagons are getting more fans but they don't have a stronghold left. Is anyone else having this issue?

In years past, the map ended automatically when you completed the last stronghold.
Unless a deliberate change was made this year, you may be experiencing a bug that is allowing you to continue to play after finishing the strongholds and acquiring May. If this is the case, you will need to replay the whole map over to get all of the hexagons.

It has never automatically ended after getting all of the strongholds. I always have had a few extra territories to grab after getting the last stronghold
