What's up with his stealing though? I've been thrown out 9 times in 25 attempts, even by Foxx a couple times... 99/99 should be to the base before foxx even gets the throw past the mound
I have had that happen too 99/99 still should give a close play with some of the catchers even with a perfect throw.

I haven't had any issues stealing. But I usually manage 1 L1 lead before I swipe.

Ah good ole’ meta Mondesi, nothing encapsulates DD more than a career .250 hitter being a better card than Hall of famers.

Yo. In a game to do Chisox pitchers innings, I hit a 2-run shot with his weaker left side to right in Comiskey with the wind blowing in 11mph in right field on a Changeup that I timed perfectly! 65 power and he blasted it. Almost a wall scraper, but I was shocked!!!

I'm going to preface all of this by saying I'm terrible online... offline I've grinded just about everything possible. Online, I can't hit for the life of me... except for Mondesi. I'm batting a little over .400 with him and his power has been an incredibly pleasant surprise. So I would always take this post as a joke, until I started using him. If a [censored] like me can rake with him, he has to be the best card in the game.

The thing I like the most about a guy bunting against me is he's never going to hit a home run. His upside potential is limited to just one base. And it's also unlikely you'll be able to take a pitcher deep into the AB, as the bunt often happens within the first 2 pitches. And no matter his speed, anyone who knows how to manage the running game and has a catcher with a strong arm can cut down about 30-40% of stolen base attempts (I wish the game kept stats), so getting Mondesi on via a bunt and then successfully stealing second with him is a high risk, low reward move every step of the way.

He is so good that I’m using him as a pinch runner to bait my opponents to pitch hard stuff to Bellinger... those slide step hanging fastballs are juicy!

I'd say low risk high reward actually. If he's on 2B, any base hit could score him, so far with Mondesi i have 20 SB and I've been caught only 1 time.

The thing about Mondesi is, when you put on your defense against a bunt, he drives one over the wall.
