Anyone else getting matched with Puerto Rican teams and getting horrible connection?

Not trying to be racist, I know someone will find a way to make this seem racist.

But my most recent games have been against Puerto Rican teams and I’ve had horrible glitches happen. I live in the northeast, why am I getting matched with people that live almost 2,000 miles away?

You are 2000 miles away from New York? The name of your team is chosen by you yourself. Not where you are from or where you are at. And with well over 1 million Puerto Ricans living in NYC alone, I am pretty sure there are plenty in the NE to get matched up with.

I get matched up against a lot of Dominican and Puerto Rican teams too, some of them have bad connections, most don’t.

I noticed that if I play against my dominican friends living in the DR it’s a lil bit laggy. Maybe you had bad luck and got queued up a few times with people that were not in the us.

I’ve played a lot of pr teams and Spanish names I haven’t really had much lag from it though

You get matched with everyone on the MLB 20 network. I've played people from the UK, China, South America, etc. I've had people from Boston, Toronto, California, with horrible lag. I've even had my internet hiccup on me and disconnected. Depends on the provider and time of day

Me! I posted about this earlier. I live in northern FL, and while they seem like perfectly nice guys, the connections are terrible.

I live in the Dominican Republic and yes, its a bit more frequent to experience lag when I match up with Puerto Ricans.
PD: Americans are so paranoid to say anything about a different ethnicity, Jeez....

Fun fact: There are more Puerto Rican’s living in the US than in PR. Most live in the east coast (NY, NJ, FL, etc.).

I played 3 RS games all year. 2 teams had Latino names. It's just the name, I'm sure. Latino's rule baseball these days anyway 🤪
