I actually have more of a problem with Tatis swinging 3-0. I mean as a fan, I don’t mind, but if I am the manager and I give a take sign, grand slam or not, he’d better take that pitch next time or I’m fining his a$$.
When I was coaching we had this really cocky 14 year old. Said he could steal home, I told him no. He did anyway and I basically yelled don't swing so he wouldn't get a bat to the head. He swung and it had to be literally inches from his face. He scored. I benched him the rest of the game.

I can't believe the number of people defending players that bunt 4+ times a game. It is ridiculous. It doesn't happen in real life, you'll be lucky if there is 1 or 2 attempts in a game (and are usually sac bunts, not bunt for base hits), much less 3 or 4 bunts put in play. I know its a video game, but it's absurd, ridiculous and unrealistic. People who defend this method of playing are apart of the problem. It takes no skill to bunt in this game, it takes luck.
You misunderstand me, I don't like playing bunt cheesers, I think they are only hurting themselves because if SDS fixes it in MLB 21, they are screwed.
I just don't think it's the "ThEy ArE dISrEsPeCtInG bAsEbAlL" levels of serious. If baseball were a person, I guess he/she must get seriously offended at everything judging by how many times he/she feels disrespected.
Ah yes, but when chapman throws 101 at someone's head, we don't blink. No, others stand up against that because you are disrespecting the game by risking one's life by purposely throwing at their head. (yes there's always a risk, but its a fraction not comparable to an intentional throw at the head) So yes, disrespecting the game is a thing. Not sure if you've played baseball in real life, but when you play you don't play all willy nilly

No its called the unwritten rules of baseball, bunting to ruin a PG and throwing at one's head are both rules that should remain. (honestly fine with Tatis and him swinging 3-0 for a granny)
Again, speaking those two things in the same sentence just shows how far you are reaching. Those two things have nothing in common. One is a silly rule that you seem "adamant" on. But as you said in another thread " I don't let the little things get to me kiddo, a small breeze won't send me freefalling."

If you played baseball or watched baseball last year, or even watched the trailer for the show 21, a huge topic of discussion are the unwritten rules of baseball and which are still relevant, and while others aren't. They are under the umbrella of those unwritten rules so yes, I do think they are relevant to each other.
Third, you probably didn't read the thread in which I said that, where a 47 year old man was furious about having to push circle over a friendly quit. This context is important when you realize that the topic of discussion didn't remain long on my game, which I could honestly care-less about at this point. Now the discussion has moved to consistently bunting in this game, which is a problem and requires no skill, and the integrity of the game (ie the unwritten rules)
Honestly, I thought we were having a fair discussion right now kiddo, but internet trolls can only last so long before taking shots at a person behind their screen....They are not under the same umbrella
There is a major difference between potentially injuring someone and bunting for a hit.
If you can't see the difference between those two things, there isn't a point to this conversation.

Someone tried this against me last night, He fouled it on third strike easy out. next two guys stuck out. I was winning 4-0 this happened in the 8th or 9th. I finished off a perfect game with Palmer including 20k's..
