A Litter Early Honesty Regarding 21 Would Be Great

With the very limited availability of PS5s, a little early honesty regarding PS5 vs PS4 gameplay for The Show 21 would be great. I’m not asking to give away any details, but if the game is going to play better on the 5 (to the point where you would have an advantage), it would be nice to know now as opposed to the previews/after launch. I think many of us would like a heads up on how much effort we should put into getting a Ps5 before April, vs just getting one whenever we randomly find one.
I want to be clear, I am not accusing SDS of dishonesty, just asking for some early honesty with respect to competitive gameplay.

Expect it to be an almost exact port over to Ps5.

Right, but is it just going to have better graphics and what not or is actual gameplay going to be impacted? I guess what I really want to know is was 21 optimized for the still very rare PS5 or is it essentially a ps4 game that is being ported to the 5.

It's a tough ask. You're basically asking if 21 is being retrofitted for PS4.
Until a product is PS5 exclusive, you won't see a game optimized for the PS5.
You're going to have smoother graphics, rendering etc on PS5. P2P connection isn't going to be console driven.
Just my 2 cents.

There's been a pandemic and a shortage of PS5s. A 3 week delayed release date will be an impressive accomplishment.

That’s kind of my point. How much am I going to miss playing on my PS4 vs the 5 since the 5s are virtually unavailable.

We won't know until we learn more about it but I'd wager you're not missing much.

I'm expecting 21 to basically be exact same as 20, with maybe some fine tuning if we ate lucky. The Covid situation along with first year on Xbox imo probably limited their ability to make many gameplay adjustments.
I was extremely happy with the PS5 gameplay of 20. That 60fps was, for me, a gamechanger.
