Its so disappointing man. I come on here talking about how they should just trade him and set us on a path for the future, but I still [censored] wanted us to build around him LIKE BRIDICH [censored] PROMISED HE WOULD WHEN NOLAN SIGNED THAT BIG [censored] CONTRACT.
[censored] it. I'm waiting to see where Trevor goes and root for that squad, go to that game when they come to Colorado sporting my Nolan Jersey with his name taped over and replaced with "FIRE THAT STOOGE JEFF BRIDICH".

Cohen De-Activates Twitter Amid Stock Scandal
Steve Cohen, Mets Owner:
“I’ve really enjoyed the back and forth with Mets fans on Twitter which was unfortunately overtaken this week by misinformation unrelated to the Mets that led to our family getting personal threats. So I’m going to take a break for now. We have other ways to listen to your suggestions and remain committed to doing that. I love our team, this community, and our fans, who are the best in baseball. Bottom line is that this week’s events in no way affect our resources and drive to put a championship team on the field.”Cohen and his family have received death threats online in recent days.

Did not have "Gamestop kills the Mets" on my bingo card.

Left-hander Carlos Rodon, who wasn't offered a contract after going 0-2 with an 8.22 ERA in four appearances last season, will return to the White Sox on a one-year, $3M deal, a source confirmed to ESPN.

@jz2016cubs said in MLB Offseason discussion and news! Arenado to the Cardinals, Didi to the Phillies, Steve Cohen deactivates Twitter because of Threats:
Looks like DJ's deal will be 6 years $15 per year. At least that is what I am hearing.
Seems like a steal. I know it is a small sample size but how does DJL get 15 per year with a War of 3 last year and Tatis is set to make twice that much per year and his War was 2.8 last season???

The Cubs are in a agreement on a one-year deal with former Pirates right-hander Trevor Williams, sources told ESPN.

The league's proposal to push back the start of spring training to late March and the beginning of the season to late April includes a 154-game schedule that would pay players their full 162-game salaries, according to sources.
There WOULD be a DH, and a 14 team playoff.
