They better not remove guess pitch from Offline DD

Who gives a cra.p if I want to use it against the CPU, it literally punishes you if you guess wrong by making your PCI smaller, that alone is worth it for offline play.
I can understand for online against a real person but against the CPU? Come on this is some BS.

According to the patch notes they've released for tomorrow, they are removing it from DD.

So they take that away and leave collected cards locked? DD offline should definitely have the option for guess pitch. Seeing as how it's just against the cpu.

It is something you can turn off or on for non H2H, CPU, action. Was accidentally turned on for H2H play. Dont have a cow man.

Yes, SDS screwed up by allowing it to be used in online play, and now they’re punishing everyone by removing it completely from DD which is BS.
Instead of fixing it and just not letting you use it for online play, why are people who play offline being screwed here when they weren’t even affected in the first place?

I dont know definitely that they are moving it completely. I know it says DD, but maybe they were just being vague. Honestly though I am sure the percentage of people who use it any in DD are very low. I know I never have. I think it is a little more popular in RTTS but not DD. Either way I dont think it could possibly be a deal breaker for many people whether it stays or goes.

Guess pitch was never part of diamond dynasty online or offline (except for a few experiments in events). You’re acting like it’s been an integral part of your offline experience when in reality it’s the result of a mistake they never intended to make. This isn’t punishing everybody, it’s correcting that mistake.

Even if I could use guess pitch in every game mode, I would never even use it. I'll just recognize the pitch and square up the ball myself, like the game is meant to be played.

I know it has been said many times (and I personaly havent believed it either), but after turning guess pitch option off, I became soo much better player. Try it for at least a week and you will see results and you will never want to turn that option on again. Trust me.

Turned it off years and years ago... was pissed when I guessed wrong but still had a crushable pitch, but couldn’t do anything because of the penalty. It’s useless

Some of us cannot stand using that silly PCI. Seeing that thing on your screen 200 times a game drives me NUTS. Guess what else? Real MLB hitters are able to guess pitches. This change is ridiculous.

Wait wait... so you are telling me Real MLB hitters can predict in their minds what pitch is coming and have that confirmed by an unknown source???? Hmmmm.... is the year 2017? Is it also the World Series?? Are you also on the Astros??
Give me a break... Guess pitch is for people who have no clue how to play MLB. Use guess pitch in your head. Know the pitchers tendencies. Understand, ok. It's a 2-0 count and imma sit fastball and he likes to throw it up. Sit on that. Be a smart intellectual baseball player. Not just some bot who is like "BuT ThE GaMe DoEsNt LeT Me GuESs ItS A fAsTbALl".... use your game knowledge.

It has always been available for DD offline, I know this because I’ve played every year for the past five years and I’ve always used it, and I only play offline DD I know it’s there.
