All three of these captures are from a ranked game I just lost. It was a painful one but possibly the most frustrating thing were these animations which were all called balls.
I had 9 hits in the game, so that is the positive I will take from it.

I mean, yea check swings are frustrating, but the animation has nothing to do with the call, so there isn't even a point to looking at it.

You wanna know pain, 13 foul balls and 9 checkswings none for strikes in the 1st inning of a 3 inning event game. Such fun

If those were your opponents swings then most likely his bat didnt go near that far. With the syncing issues this game has you dont see his actual swing. Chances are the same thing happens when you check swing on his end. Hell sometimes the game has problems syncing guys running bases or picking up the baseball. It darn sure cannot sync a check swing properly. On his end he may have barely flinched.

That’s a good explanation. I had never seen this before and was amazed when I saw the swings and then the count was 1-0.
Based on the issue you’re describing, it sounds like it would be pretty difficult to make check swings actually look right... which is unfortunate.

Truth. It's about the button push. Dont go by animations. Leave that to garbage Madden football.

Well...... Its some mixture of the button push and RNG based on the players discipline stat.
