MLB 21 New legends

If I had to bet on a new legend it’d be Clemente. And wouldn’t be shocked if he’s on the cover for 21.
Edit: also feels like this might be the year for Randy and Pedro. Then maybe 22 we get the roid boys if they sneak over 75% to get into the Hall.

We get 30 or so new legends a year. I'm guessing half your list doesn't make it but you got some good ones on there

So I’m thinking about Randy and Pedro.... correct me if I’m wrong but we’ve always had position players as the league collection rewards, right? Pudge/Hornsby, Biggio/Sheffield and I can’t recall before them. What I’m wondering is what the community response would be if Randy and Pedro were the league collection rewards for 2020. I get we don’t want pitchers, but I don’t think these are just any pitchers. I’d be all for it. And then Clemente as the main reward?? Sign me up

Honestly, I hate how OP 99 ovr pitchers are at launch. And there’s usually one or 2 in the xp reward path like kershaw (19), Ryan (19) and Kluber (20). I think having at least 3 99 ovr starters obtainable at the beginning of the year would be brutal. But I would love to see those cards in the game, just not their 99 versions at launch lol

we ain't getting a new game till August. No cover, no gameplay of new mechanics. We have heard nothing. SDS probably struggling big time to code for the Xbox. I expect them to just update MLB the Show 20 and wait till 2022 to release the next- gen version. Corona didn't help them either. But I expect MLB 21 to only have minimal improvements and updated rosters. no time to bring big changes.

Pete Rose will not be in it nor will Barry Bonds. Mike Mussina would be trash as he was in his playing career and somehow was elected to the HOF. Koufax would be nice along with Pedro.
