Why I don’t like The Show this late in the game cycle and why I keep playing it

Its getting harder and harder to play a realistic game of baseball anymore.

Yet most players have moved on. The only players left are either trolls, exploiters or really good hitters.

I’m either playing a World Series player who is bunt dancing, taking four steps off third every base and starting Stephen Wright, or I am playing a heavy hitting goon at Shippett where every game has scores in the teens. Neither game is “baseball,” and both are exercises in frustration.

I like baseball, which is why I keep coming back to the show, but this late in the cycle,
I find more and more it’s not what I’m playing anymore which turns me off the game more and more.

Man i can’t wait til The Show 21, but as each day passes without an announcement it makes me wonder if the next version of the game will be delayed or just a copy paste job, continuing the cycle.

I don’t know how people play this game or any game for that matter everyday all the time. I don’t think it’s healthy. I myself have 4 games that I play equally & I think that helps prevent me from getting enraged like alot of people I see post on here. If you have a frustrating game just go play something else, I promise you this will help.

What vinnis1 said.... think I will finally do that, or will go back to trying to play friendlies with some guys here.....(I’m always game if your interested- although I have never made WS, always top out at CS)..

My feelings are hurt as I am none of these and I'm still playing.

Otherwise, I agree 100% as that's what I'm running into. I'm just trying desperately to prestige Freeman, Soto, Realmuto and LeMahieu via the event, and.... Trout in RS.

I'm only here because the game is baseball also but I'd suggest to expect nothing good from '21. At least you won't be let down. This game cycle was a roller coaster first few months with very obvious attempts to improve the game for us but every patch was like walking on quicksand until they pulled the cord and let us sink. But nice content amirite?
