Robles will earn $2M on a one-year contract. -
Free-agent first baseman Justin Smoak is nearing a contract with the Yomiuri Giants of Japan’s Nippon Professional Baseball. Smoak will earn a guaranteed $6MM to $7MM if the deal goes through. (Passan)

Acording to Darvish he didn't even get a heads up that he was traded. Silence from the Cubs front staff. If true that's pretty disgusting and makes me think what is going on.

The Toronto Blue Jays reportedly attempted to sign George Springer to a contract that was "well under" the $150 million the free-agent outfielder is looking for this offseason.
Jim Duquette of SNY reported the news Monday, noting Toronto's offer was still "aggressive" and in the five-year range.
