Are these 1M stub cards actually worth that much of are they 1M because everyone is stub rich?
Ex: I can remember when Ted Williams was around 300K

Prices are more often based on supply then performance. So the short answer is yes, it's bc people are stub rich. There is not enough supply with how many stub millionaires there are.

depends on the card. Short answer yes. Long answer no if you can make world series or br anyways. And yes I remember when Williams was 300K lucky I snagged him then. He's a beast.

When I look at a card that’s 1,000,000 stubs I wouldn’t buy it for the simple fact that the seller is ripping you off plain and simple. Nothings worth that much and if you buy something at 1 million then I hope you have rng Jesus luck with it.

"Seller is ripping you off" lol. The market is dictated by buyers, if they aren't willing to pay 1m, the card would be lower, but tons of people are willing to pay that much.

They should remove the 1m cap.... Chipper and Wagner would be going for 3-5 mil at this point in the game cycle

It's a dilemma. I know I've mentioned it before, but FIFA had issues where players would be extinct at 15 million coins. On one hand, the cap helps regulate prices, and on the other, it ensures that a few cards will be quasi-extinct.
I do think that if there wasnt a cap, whales could be able to price the same cards out of range for normal players to get anyway. Basically, is it better to wait in a line for a chance at getting the card, or price it out of X% of the player populations bankroll.
I dont know what the answer is to this dilemma, but I personally believe the current situation is better than having cards that are extinct at 15 million stubs.

I see a lot that aren’t also.
The cards that are at 1m if you notice, they are all peoples buy orders, not people selling the card.

Well I’m not one of those guys that pays attention to the market who know the ins and outs of it. I’ve never flipped cards in this game the entire time I’ve played, but If they want it then great! That’s what they want to do so I won’t stop them. I just think any card prices that high are a waste of stubs.

This year seemed easier than any other to not only obtain stubs but also bank them. I’ve had 2 mil sitting in my account for forever now it seems. It’s a mix of stub sales and easy stubs that made these players basically un purchaseable at this point

Holy moly, I just sold Juan Pierre for 1,000,000. I think I bought him at 60,000 a couple of months ago.

Any word on some new packs or programs to get these cards? Or remove the vid cap? I've been away for months and the market and game seem dead. I'm sticking with this version going forward for several reasons when I get the baseball itch, be nice to have some way to attain these cards.

Only a waste of stubs if there are better things to spend stubs on. I have every card in the game, so I now have every bat in the game, and still have over 4M stubs that I can’t spend. SDS made some bad decisions toward the end of the game, especially with unlimited RIB and TA4 that has led to the craziness in the market

I’ve tried cards but the reason I bought a bat skin is because the expensive cards don’t look/play good so yeah to each their own no worries.
