Thank you. According to him, this issue applies with all controllers which are capable of being wired, because the model number he mentions is not a serial number but basically the full model number of the 'Dualshock 4 V2', which is also the only model being able to be wired in the first place.

Wouldn't surprise me, I play with a Nacon controller. It's wired functionality is fine and it has its own Bluetooth USB dongle for wireless, I'm straight

I was just watching that video and I use Bluetooth for my communication setting, so if I’m charging my controller but have Bluetooth still set, would the input lag be based off of the usb connection for the charging, or stay with the system settings?

As long as you have your controller connected through Bluetooth in the system settings, it will always transmit data that way and the USB cable will only function as a charging cable.

As long as you have your controller connected through Bluetooth in the system settings, it will always transmit data that way and the USB cable will only function as a charging cable.

Sorry, just seeing this and nit sure I am following....are you saying setting up your controller as Bluetooth (even if using usb to charge) is better than hard wired in for connection speed?

Yes, as counterintuitive as that may sound that is true when it comes to DualShock 4 controller because of the polling rates.
