Problems with my Diamond Dynasty pitching rotation...

First off, just want to wish everybody a Merry Christmas! I learned a lot from reading on all the topics on here. I got back into sports gaming after 10 years. I’m mainly a off-line player and typically don’t have as much time as others to grind it out. At any rate it’s been a great outlet to escape the grind of daily life so I my hats of to all the folks at MLB The Show. I love all the content however haven’t had good luck lately with the Ducks on Pond packs .lol Thank you. Ok here’s my question, I recently hit level Silver 42 (?)and chose Hal Newhouser. I’ve heard al lot of good stuff about him. So I put him at the top of my Diamond Dynasty rotation to try him out for the 3 inning All-Timers challenge and for some reason he’s not the starting pitcher. I can move to the 1st,2nd spot rotation but he’s never pitching. Any thoughts on what’s going on or what I’m doing wrong?

For some reason in that all-timers program they choose starter based on highest overall so if you want 98 Newhouser to start the other 4 starters on your squad should be 97 ovr and lower I believe
