    Re: Automatic diving outfielders

Hey @raesone.. I remember you making a post regarding the above-mentioned topic some time ago. Just curious if you are still experiencing same issues from time to time or if it's been resolved for you. If it's been resolved, do you know how it got resolved or did it just stop happening on its own?

Reason I ask, is because it's been happening to me quite frequently to the point where I feel lucky if it doesn't. But now it's just ridiculous as it just happened to me on a routine ground ball to my shortstop, where my shortstop dove on its own when he didn't have to., subsequently, costing me the game.

Appreciate any feedback from yourself or even others who may have experienced the same thing or have any suggestions. Thanks.

I got a new controller and I haven't experienced it since. I think my previous controller was faulty despite it being relatively new so I replaced it under warranty and the problem seems to be solved. Maybe not the answer you were looking for but hope it helps either way.

I had the same problem as well and replaced my controller (which was only a couple of months old). Have not had an issue since.

Yes, that actually helps. I knew it wasn't a game problem, and possibly a controller problem. Was contemplating on getting a new controller prior to asking, but didn't want to get one and not solve the problem. So this definitely helps. Thanks guys for the feedback.

Right analog stick is worn. That’s what causes it, just like PCI twitch is caused by a worn left analog stick.

    Yeah, you're probably right.

Also, I use analog pitching. Don't know if this has happened to anyone else, but on rare occasions, when an opponent attempted to steal and timed it perfectly as I was about to make my pitch, it would automatically switch to defensive mode and my pitcher would automatically dive off the mound. My point being, it never made any sense to me why SDS would incorporate the dive feature with the joystick, lol.

I don’t have this issue right now but my controller is kinda old, I’d probably benefit from getting a new one too.
