THIS IS WHAT YOU WANNA DO!!!
You do the exchange set once OR you collect all of that team if you plan of it. One of those things gives you 10 stars. THEN you do whatever teams SHOWDOWN division TWICE! For example, If you wanna do Gallo, you do the rival exchange set ONCE or you collect all of the Rangers... THEN you do the AL West Showdown TWICE! That will give you enough vouchers to put them into the set. Each Showdown run gives you 5 vouchers of 4, which is 20. do that TWICE, you get 40. Add the exchange set/ Team collection, and BOOM.
I have been doing this since launch and I have Gallo, Soto, Torres, Ozzie Albies and Blake Snell
You don't want to complete the collection before reaching 10 stars as the pack at 10 stars is unsellable .

Just draft in showdown and skip to the final showdown, if you can do it you'll make your stubs back and get 20 stars in 30 minutes or less
How does this work? I’m getting the game on Monday. So you can forfeit all the way up to the boss battle?

You draft a base team and go into the Final Boss with a pretty bad team tbh... would only recommend this if you are solid at the game. Otherwise, you need to score 16 runs with the base team... as you win challenges you get better players and perks and even extra runs to make the final boss easier.
Honestly, I would just put in Buy Orders for the guys for the exchange sets and grind out whole thing out... takes me about 2-3 hours of buying players while playing the 2 showdowns. and Boom. TA Gallo is on the team

It's players you don't have to pay for or pull, and they are unsellable so getting after team collect makes them useless,at least before they have a little use.

Schools in Philly and bucks county shut Thursday and Friday, governor mandated non essential stores to close( but didn't define essential) so some have and some stayed open, grocery stores packed not much else and movie theaters shut down next.
so ppl are finding themselves with a lot of time but not much to do with itI'm sure other cities and states are having same thing happen.

You can skip ahead to the boss, ignoring all of the missions leading up to it which are meant to improve your team to give you a better chance. .
Not everybody has the skill to beat the main boss mission with the default team. Also, it costs 1,000 stubs per attempt so it could be costly if you keep skipping ahead a failing.

College Lefty made a video on this.
Just draft your team WITHOUT taking any pitchers. Then jump straight to the Final Boss Battle.
It's usually Score 'X' amt of Runs before you get 'X' amt of Outs.
You never pitch.
If you're good enough to do that, and you do it 3x, you can get enough Vouchers to get the FOF card, plus have a few leftover.
If I remember correctly, he said it too him about 1.5 hours per card.
Now, I've also heard that if you don't skip to the end; but play each 'Showdown Mission' nd win them all; you don't have to score as many runs on the Final Battle that you would if you skipped to the end.
But I haven't confirmed that yet

If you're good enough to do that,That there is the key point. Most players are not "good enough" and at 1,000 stubs per attempt that could get expensive.

If you win the smaller battles you do earn runs which in turn makes the final boss one easier to do.
