I used to be offline only like you, but then I focused on just Prestiging cards and not winning and I am now addicted to ranked seasons. I have 41 cards prestiged and I am very close with 5 others.
Same here, but my addiction just started!

I just don't see it happening because it would be really easy to abuse, unless the stats only count if you play at All-Star difficulty and up
That would be perfectly fine with me. Yes it would take me a ton longer to do, but it would also make it interesting to me. I would force myself to use players that I normally wouldn't use.

That's kind of how I feel, but I hate having access to just 5 players. I think it alienates the offline players. I know I need to get good, but playing online is not fun for me.

Problem is I have a hard time hitting as it is. It would take me longer to prestige online than it would offline. Mainly because I have a young son who I need to be able to pause the game for longer periods of time. Online play doesn't fit his schedule.

Your post made me go in the game and count where I’m at....40, which is way more than I would have guessed....have about 6-7 that are close but honestly not focusing on, if they naturally get there great, but not guys I would really use....I’ve enjoyed the events for this reason.

Take it from me. I have 4 kids and have been playing online since 18. Dont focus on RS but use the events to prestige your players. Events bring out all types of players and its not always a sweat feast. Personally I wish they would do away with Prestige. Its just an excuse to have us spend more game time for cards we would have earned last year. I doubt they will if anything they will expand it.

Lately when I've played the event games it was me playing against prestige level 100 players with almost all of their lineup being prestiged. I went into a game and they hit 4 straight bombs off me. I thought they were well located, but nope.

Prestiege is stupid.

well I did say not always a sweat feast. The nice thing is that event wins and loses mean nothing. especially if you are just going for prestige stats. You can always just quit those games with juiced teams. I played a guy yesterday that had 3 commons and was a level 24 bronze. I pitched 2 innings batted in the top of the 3rd for 1 batter and then quit as I'm sure he was getting raked by most people. Its late enough in the year that its just about working on things to keep yourself entertained.

I had the opposite experience in events, all goons. Not fun.

I’ve had pretty much the same experience. Everyone has been really good. But I think it’s forced me to buckle down and brought out some good in me. So I think I’m probably better off for playing it and getting guys closer to prestiged and learning along the way. I only started playing events the last one and this one and I have a few guys really close. I got lefty and I think I was 25-27 so I’m happy with that considering the level of competition was so high. Take your lumps sometimes, but you’ll be better off in the end IMO
