Just got to 25 wins in event to unlock Lefty

Wait until the event is over. Pretty sure he's close to his bottom price now.

So, should I buy him now, and sell later? Hoping that this price goes up?

Just grind Bellinger next time the event comes up. I dont know why anyone would buy him right now

Yea if you can pull off 25 wins for Lefty you can do 20 for Belli(you might already have a head start if you played the even last week). Unless you have tons of stubs and just don’t care, but it sounds like you were selling this card to have enough stubs so I’d say wait.

Thanks for the response. I just wasn't sure how tough that event was. Belli looks like a great card, but yeah ill just try and grind for him. I have some stubs, but not enough to buy outright. Now I can use those stubs on other guys I wanna try and just keep Lefty. Thanks!!

I unlocked him this morning. Played a RS game and through 3 innings he struck out 5 with 0 runs. Then gave up 6 runs in the fourth inning. I’m selling about a week after the event

Technically, his price should slowly climb and climb as time goes on. Event cards usually tend to do that because of their rarity... Even if they aren't elite cards.

I threw a combined no hitter with lefty yesterday. He went 7 innings with 11 strikeouts, and my opponent had great batting averages with his cards. You have to not rely on his fastball and set up to use it. In 14 innings with lefty I have 23 so’s

I pitched 7 innings with him earlier. Gave up 2 runs on 5 hits with 9 k's. 8th inning comes and my opponent scores 8 against Crochet, Wagner, and Huer lol.

Those are the maddening games....When you own an opponent for an entire game but one inning where no matter what you throw the RNG has dictated it is getting crushed..

I've thrown a couple games with him so far and every one my oppent has quit. I like him. I've given up 1 ER on all star and have a bunch of strike outs. Might end up keeping him after all. I pulled DeGrom from the packs I earned during the event, sold him, and used some of my stubs to buy Honus. I struggled with him in that innings showdown, but playing against him in that event he smashed against me! I like his attributes and speed so I figured id give him a shot. Excited to pair him with Tatis Jr up the middle!

Threw his twice in RS yesterday. First game the guy quit after I struck out his first 2 batters (All Star). Then in Pennant Race he threw 7 scoreless innings with 14 Ks.
I compare him to a lefty Feller who I also have. Control isn't always there but if your opponent struggles with 102 then he should dominate as he has good secondaries as well.
