Give it time, some players take longer to get used to then others. I was batting 0.95 with Awards Pujols after 50 some odd at bats but since then he has been fire. For Trout try swinging a bit earlier then normal (he has a very quick swing). When you do start hitting with him you will absolutely love that card. I now have 57 homeruns with him and he has been so clutch for me. Him/Griffey and Soto are my end game outfielders right now.

Trout Rakes Be Patient, I was the same with Tatis. Truth is people try not to leave anything in the zone to these hitters and we get impatient and swing at bad pitches.

Try looking inside pre pitch. That helped me.

I remember when they released him as the "big reward" I looked at the stats and called it a massive L.
