Isn't this known by now and the card from pre-ordering game is going to be irrelevant shortly.

The card from pre ordering is almost always irrelevant lol. Judge in 17 was worthless, Harper in 18 was fine but if you didn’t play the immortals at every position but 2B you were an idiot. In 19 that Baez card didn’t even crack the top 10 in finest cards

I'd go with Robinson Cano. I feel like he might be able to bring abnormal gains to the pocketbooks of SDS.

I think the obvious choices for cover are Tatis or Seager. In either case they both have top shelf 99's already. We have way more 99's in this game than any of the past years, I don't think any pre-order bonus card could be better than what we already have. Maybe they do a choice pack as the pre-order bonus. Something like that Replay pack, maybe with World Series/BR rewards?

I think a legend could grace the cover. Clemente, A-Rod, Hank Aaron, etc.....

If they fill that senior gameplay programmer position they have open, that person should be on the cover.

SDS should do a standard Legends cover for 21. But every $80 edition is a limited # of specific team players with a unique cover.
30 different special editions, each with a player of said team and in a limited quantity based on pre orders only.

My guess is a legend. Mays or Ruth or even Bob Gibson. What I would love to see won’t happen and that would be Koufax. But maybe they’ll surprise me, I guess we’ll see pretty soon.

Darkhorse possibility for the 2021 cover? Look no further than Der-ek Jeter!, Der-ek Jeter! But the smart money has to be on my favorite player in The Show, Juan Soto.
