When did they give him a 5th pitch? That being a split? Ran into him last week and it definitely took me by surprise.

About a month ago cause cameras cause him throwing a splitter in the playoffs and SDS jumped on it.

I'm not a Yankees fan by any stretch of the imagination, but he started throwing that pitch this off season because he knows his velocity is going to drop down in the next few years so he's diversifying.
