I’m just being a douche bc I got roasted in another thread for complaining about the exact same travesty done to my boy, he’s spot on but sadly I don’t think sds is going to change the card. Hopefully next year sds gives him the due this first ballot hofamer deserves, maybe add in a new perk boosting velocity on pitchers that are/were known to crank up the velo in pressure situations.

Outside of me having complained about the rating of some of my favorite players I have praised sds for the great content and their attempted patches to improve the game and I have never been the “git gud” [censored]. You sound like an entitled ungrateful beeyatch towards sds and should go play madden or nba2k

His sig series tigers card last year had his fastball at 98 on his card and had a cutter. What changed?

I can’t speak for the velocity as obviously that is what this thread is about. As for the cutter Verlander didn’t throw that in 2011. So that at least makes sense

SDS F'd me over. You dont even know the situation otherwise you wouldnt be so quick to point the finger and call me ungrateful. Madden and nba2k suck. Havent played those in over 7 years. This game is turning out to be the same. It sucks.

He did not need outlier, but that would have worked too. They could have just gave him 99 mph straight up. 96 is low for him. I agree too about the rookies and even sub-rookies getting 99's all year. Sickening.

This is all I wanted right here! He really shouldn’t have a cutter but he throws slower than base fotf John smoltz really!? Kerry throws 3 mph harder at least he should have 98mph on his fastball which would allow him to occasionally hit 100. A 96 4 seam with his pitch selection makes him unusable on all star and everyone who watched JV pitch knows he hit 99-100 with ease and often throughout his starts just not early in the game.
