Chipper and Wagner
-
Sorry if there is already a thread for this, but I see people have been posting when they get Mays and what day and time they put their order in. Anybody get Chipper or Wagner recently and have that info?

There have been 31 Wagner cards sold in the month of November according to the sales listed on the website. I was about 300 in line so I pulled my $1M Wagner bid last weekend and bought a Ted Williams card instead.

Good luck getting any BR flawless reward at this point in the game I’ve had my chipper Order up for the longest and it hasn’t gone through .

How do you know where you stand in line?

When I put my order in there were already about 300 orders in the queue

I just got Chipper today. I don't remember the timestamp but I believe my order was placed on 10/29. Just passing along for those still waiting.

Yeah, it really is a fantastic system they’ve devised this year. Any Tom Glavine fans who were pumped to pay 1M stubs for his 95 overall in his debut year in the show? Can’t wait until next year when they do limited runs of cards like Griffey, or remove the cap so everyone costs a trillion stubs a pop.

I got my Larry Jones early this morning. Thinking I put my order in on 10/30 but I could be off by a little. Wagner has been up since then and still waiting.

The issue isn’t a lack of cards. There’s no reason to think there’s not just as many 12-0 cards in the wild this year as any other year.
The 1,000,000 stub cap is only a problem because of how easy stubs were to come by this year. There has never been such long “lines” to get so many cards. People have too many stubs.

It’s hard to knock the content too heavily in terms of availability, because for every Wagner or Glavine scenario, where the cards aren’t readily available, there’s a counter scenario, such as giving you 99 Thome in TA3 in his debut year, or a free 99 Babe Ruth for a bit of cpu grinding. I’d agree about the stubs situation though, they threw too much of everything out there this year.
