Unsellable Team Packs at 10 Affinity points

Yes the way it is designed right now it definitely makes those packs pointless but it also looks like it was mainly an oversight from the Devs. I can’t imagine them not providing some fix for it at some point.
There is also so much new and so many little changes they made that there are bound to be a few things that need correcting

A simple fix would be making any unsellables beyond the first exchangeable

Hey SDS, we are also the whales spending on the game. I’m 19 teams completed and every single one I couldn’t sell these cards or exchange them. Make this [censored] right.

You can, but it doesn’t actually give you the stubs or remove the cards. So you really can’t.

Agree with this part. If I have to lock something in to have it collected and can’t do anything with it, fine. But I hate having unsellable duplicates. I mean, what’s the point if that? At least let us quicksell (particularly in the case of items that don’t have an exchange like sponsorships and equipment) or at least exchange them somewhere.

It was obviously designed with the thought that people would hit the 10 point level in some other way than collections, even though that is the quickest way.
I can honestly say that now that I know this I will not be locking in the collection before I get that pack.

So you are going to do ALL the team affinity before collection?

Not sure, I will have to look at it more closely. I am not a big collection guy and last year I only did it for the Cards. Honestly, Jason Isringhausen does not entice me to rush it.

I got 2 of one guy and 2 of another. So I now have 3 Pedro strop that I can't do anything with

It is 100% intentional. They announced it on one of the streams. It is for more $$$ for SDS. We certainly did not ask for it.

I was just coming to post about this. Not being able to quicksell cards that have been locked into collections stinks of a cash grab. The packs you get for team affinity should at least be dup protected or give us the option to quick sell the pack for x amount of stubs without opening it. They have no provide ripping ideas from 2k and Madden why not use this one as well. Showdown came from K.O. Superstar. Evolution came from 2K fantasy packs came from EA. They need to do something about this one. its not a lot of stubs and in the grand scheme of things its not overly important but the little things add up.

Similar thing happened to me. I got 2 Elvis Andrus from the Rangers affinity pack. If they’re gonna be unsellable/unexchangeable, at least make it so each card is unique

I can understand the intention of not allowing you to exchange or quick selling cards after you've locked them in (I don't agree with it, but can understand it), but, what's the point of making these cards unsellable from the beginning? Seems like more than just an oversight.

You would be able to resell your duplicate Mike Trout. Unless of course it came from the the Team affinity Angels pack.
