Is finest Sal Perez better than Jimmie Foxx at C??

You did not ask this but Realmutto is also a beast. Best of both worlds with offense and defense plus speed on the bases. I still like going back to Foxx because he is just too clutch in h2h. Pudge is also great, can hit and plays tremendous defense but he is more expensive than Perez or Realmuttto.
Going from Foxx to Realmuto's contact vs righties, is a huge downgrade offensively IMO

Dont get me wrong I'm not trying to say Realmuto is comparable to Foxx when it comes to offense. That is why I keep going back to Jimmy, but his defense has cost me runs and probably several games. So it is a give and take. I was using Foxx and then subbing in Pudge late innings but that was alot of coin for a defensive replacement. Then I used Biggio as the backup for marginal better defense but also as a pinch runner. But right now there are so many good bats that I really dont want to waste a spot on a defensive replacement. That led me to Perez and Realmuto. So again it is a give and take.

No and anyone saying yes just doesn't hit with fox. The defense is barely noticeable as you may give up an extra base runner ever 5 to 10 games. Hitting wise tho will be night and day unless you play on all star and then disregard everything i said and play either as they are probably the same card.
The majority of the pitching I'm facing is righties, and against lefties Perez hits enough singles and gappers tp be ok. he has thrown way more runners out as well as had way fewer past balls. As I a mable to strike more guys out on HOF blocking does matter more to me anyway for those hard breaking balls in the dirt tunneled off low fastballs.
I probably will toss Foxx back in and use him some more, but I hit well with both and now play mostly on HOF.

I have Foxx at C right now and was going to move him to 1B for better defense in ranked games and probably go with Perez, until. Finest Bellinger is a game changer and will be at 1B so Foxx stays at C.

Perez at Catcher, Foxx at first, Babe to the bench IMO(assuming you have Babe at first). Foxx is a superior bat to Perez but Perez has the defense+arm behind the plate and still hits better than most of the first base options IMO. You should undoubtably have Foxx in your lineup but it’s an auto steal if he is playing catcher most times
It would have to be one or the other I dont have enough stubs to buy Perez at the moment. Plus, with finest Bellinger coming he'll be my new first basement.

I just don't have those problems. Foxx throws about half the runners out but i vary my movement. Foxx does have passed balls but again it's only one per every 5 to 10 games. I do think perez is a beast on all star but fox is way better on hof and legend.

You are lucky then. Foxx compared to Perez defensively is a very noticeable difference IMO. And Perez is just as good on HOF and legend as Foxx is against righties. I don’t think I’ve faced a lefty besides Kershaw, Paxton, Chapman, Crochet, and Hand in quite some time. Foxx is one of my favorite cards in the game but I can’t justify playing him at Catcher over Perez. If you really want Bellinger, Babe or Gehrig at 1st then Foxx can go behind the dish(although he isn’t bad at 3rd either), but Perez is more than worthy of being an endgame catcher

Get Perez. Foxx D was an easy sell. Perez has been amazing
-
Give 99 d'Arnuad a shot. I've had him in my line up over the last month and hitting well with him. Over .300 and good defense. Price is good if you don't already have him.

Let me start off by saying I love Jimmie Foxx, and I've hit ok with him. But, his defense at C has killed me on more than one occasion. That being said, looking for reviews on finest Perez. Should I keep Foxx, or sell and get Perez and maybe a pitcher with the stubs? Thanks.
CAP is still the best catcher outside Johnny Bench. Of course not CAP in events. For that I am testing Finest JT

I think fox's swing is better than perez. I actually like j.t better swing wise than perez. Again i don't notice the defense and the swing difference on hof is noticeable to me. Babe >>>> than perez too so i can't move him there. I may try him at third but machado is a beast too..

Yeah I f’n suck with Machado. I’m probably going to play Bellinger at first, Perez at Catcher, and Foxx at 3rd tbh. I think Perez has one of the best swings in the game(although not as good as Foxx). Swings are all personal opinion anyway

I like Perez better then foxx as a hitter cause of his swing and live quirks! Get Perez he is amazing!
-
I personally can't hit with Foxx or Mantle for some reason, so I find almost any reason not to have them. Mantle stayed in my lineup with his Mendoza line avg due to his stellar defense but I can't say the same for Foxx.
I have enjoyed JT behind the dish and I think the active quirks for the Finest players are really good. I have not tried Salvy yet, but I am working on that TA next.

Machado is as good as babe is for me. He is one of the cards that gets rewarded for late side of good. My problem is his defense. He has diamond defense but he moves in mud. Jose played a better third base than he does which just shouldn't happen.
