So? It was still said about Gossage. People were saying, even at 50 wins, that he would be cheap.

Where did you see this? doesn't make sense considering it's a west event. I figured verlander would be the last reward.
Do you realize that West event refers to the rules of the event and the cards you will be able to use? And not the rewards? Rewards do not follow event rules. Rewards don’t even have to play on HOF!
Yeah i get it but considering who the 20 win award was,, i thought they were going with a theme but you know be passive aggressive and all...

Gossage got down to near 300K for a short time near the end of that event. Once it ended he started his climb.
I have been able to earn every event reward and I am average at best in this game. Just comes down to what you want to focus your time on

Verlander is the 60 win reward.
This event now officially makes no sense.

How long can it reasonably be? You'd think they'd also have an equivalent "East" and/or "Central" Event as well.

They will just call the next “part” central and keep the same reward path

I agree. Instead of calling it part 1, 2 and 3 they will just call it west, Central, east

Honestly this late in the game with very little to use stubs on and an over abundance of stubs I don't see many folks selling these rewards compared to earlier in the season. You may have a few with farm team accounts that will but I feel like a majority of folks will keep these. My main focus during this part of the game is prestiging people and trying to collect every card if I can.
