why wouldn't he get an astros card? They could give him the cy young card from last year like trout got.
Because Verlander has never gotten an Astros card and if he got a Cy Young Card it would be based on 2011
I disagree. He never had a reason to get an astros card until last year. I think the Jake card will be better so it doesn't really matter to me but i don't think your debate or argument really holds water as they could literally give him either year.

Every time I read "outlier sinker" I think about how much Britton and that FS Brusdar sucked. (lol @ the hype when Brusdar first released, what a time to be alive)

Its the reason Rodney sucks too. Its Chapmans worst pitch by a long shot as well. Outlier sinkers just don’t move all that much

Yep, just cancelled mine. Don’t care if I don’t have him “first”. I’ll either play out the event myself or still buy him outright but no way he is 1mm. Even with less people playing (my assumption) still enough going to sell him and price will drop.

Who knows but definitely a possibility. Heck, just started playing the current event and noticed that some Prestige cards are allowed despite it only listing Rookie, Prospect, Future Stars and Finest. During the summer there was long thread about an event that discussed how Prestige cards are their own category. Did SDS change their mind?

You forgot the last restriction, which is 22 years old or younger. I assume you are talking about prestige Tatis, who is still 22 on both versions

I dont like being told what to do. But in this case...you may be right.
My dilemma is, I am awful at this game and dont think I will be able to get even 10 wins in this event.

Do you realize that West event refers to the rules of the event and the cards you will be able to use? And not the rewards? Rewards do not follow event rules. Rewards don’t even have to play on HOF!

That is what was said about Gossage too.
Gossage was at least 50 wins though. He was also 500-600k during the duration of the event and shot up afterwards

Gossage is also way better as everyone can use a RH reliver who throws gas w/ outlier and good secondaries. As good as Bellinger is likely to be, most of us probably have other 1B just as good and would just want Bellinger because at this point in the season why the hell not.
