Yeah it’s way way easier to react to pitches on a monitor vs a TV

Ok, thanks. I’ll get that one, I’m playing on a TV that was manufactured probably around 2011-12. It’s hard to react to 95+ fastballs with this equipment.

I’m def no expert on this stuff. I’m sure there’s a lot of guys on here that could give u more specific, useful opinions. Whatever you get def will be a major upgrade over the TV tho. Hopefully it helps you as much as it helped me 👍

There is less input lag on a good monitor, i.e. the time between what you do on your controller has the input lag reduced. That is what the 1ms stands for. When you press the button, the action is triggered that little bit quicker. I don't have freesync on, it can cause a game to drop frames. Not what you want when trying to tell the difference between a high sinker and a 102 mph fastball.

Thanks, I’ll get it for sure next week. I want to see if the price drops a little

You’re mistaking response time with input lag. No monitors have input lag of 1ms. It just doesn’t exist. 1ms advertised is response time which is different. Most good gaming monitors have input lag of 8-10ms

You are correct. I'm not sure what I was thinking when I typed that. Lol

With these new TVs,and how fast the new systems are, TVs can be just as good. I have a 65 Samsung q80t that has 2.1 120hz 4K at 5 ms input lag.

With the PS5 out, and me hoping to cop one soon, is there a noticeable difference between HDMI 2.0 vs 2.1?

It looks pretty good. One thing I'd think about if it is primarily for playing The Show is screen size. 24" seems to be the meta.
