Who’s the guy managing the Cubs, because it sure ain’t David Ross?

Why do the Cubs have a genetic guy as their manager, and not David Ross? Rossy was just in the game a couple of years ago as a player. Why isn’t he in there now as a manager?

When the orioles changed mangers a few years back the game started with a cpu generated manger and they patch the right guy in later on.

Maybe the contract with the managers lapsed and they didn't feel like it was worth it. Not sure then

It takes s full year to add those back despite that Baker, Girardi, Ross were on MLB 17.
The player model version of them will not be added until MLB 21.

That's the way it always has been. Sure the generic versions will say there names in franchise but looks nothing like them.
This is how Bud Black, Rangers Woodard, Nationals lopez etc were done.

I agree, the game had him a few years ago , I know this from doing a play through of old baseball games. Maybe Heidi hasn’t said his name yet in dialogue but they excluded his name from the game and for some reason Tommy Hunter of the Phillies is MIA as well but they have minor league players
