I’m giving WS a shot for the first time this month because of Mays. Usually I play RS at the end of each RS just to get the 10 RS wins for the Inning program. Tried getting to CS this past season for the first time, which I did and was pretty happy about. Up to 787 right now and just hoping to go +1 in the win column everyday that I play. I’m not good enough to compete with legit WS guys so I’ll need to get lucky with matchups.

I always thought a good strategy was to try and win 2 out of 3 every day. If you win the first two, you stop. If you lose the first two you stop. At most you play 3.

My singular goal in this game is to get to WS, but never get close. Was in the 800’s multiple times last year but haven’t even gotten there this year (if did, it was early on). Any sort of programs or affinity stuff I do is simply to make my squad better (I don’t grind, but do all the easy stuff like the showdowns and maps).
But in the end, I’m afraid I just swing at too many bad [censored] to get to WS. Can’t help myself. Love the challenge, love the excitement of last minute wins, hate when I choke away games late, but keep getting back in the saddle.

I’d like to... capped out at 877 so far. Not sure if it’s possible with my connection. Some days I can’t lose, others I can’t hit. These random games with “warping” pitch speeds really do me in as my hitting is shut down. Thinking it’s my internet.

I hit 803 in 17 but that’s about it. Too much RNG this year to go that far in my estimation. Based on my ability anyway. But for my age my 26-10 record isn’t bad lol

    What’s your age?

    65 and in my prime

Hello! I have a similar record in Ranked Seasons, at 22-8. I've never tried Ranked Seasons before this year. I maxed out CPU pitcher velocity for batting practice sliders a couple of months back, but the pitch speeds in Ranked Seasons still seem so much faster. I'd enjoy making World Series before 2021's game comes out, but I'm not sure how many Ranked Seasons games I should play and expect to win per week until then.

Well I decided to play an extra game with the day off tomorrow and lost after I refused a friendly quit in the first. Serves me right I guess.

Overall, went 1-3 tonight and am back in pennant race. Interestingly enough I hit the ball decently well. Just couldn’t get anyone out.

I hope everyone else played better than I did.

Went 2 and 1 last night. Stopped at 3 bc I wasn't hitting well. Played a BR game and the offense got going. Think I am going to try to limit myself to 3 RS games a night and see how that goes

Toughest part is when you lose on what u think is last game of night, then say screw it i can win one more and end night on win.... then lose

That’s what I did last night. Like @sbevans142 said above and I said in an earlier post...when I’m smart I limit myself to three games per sitting. When I’m not smart I usually lose.

I’m in wild card and am definitely seeing the ball better. But, the competition is starting to get a little better. I’m hoping to be solidly in ds by the end of the weekend.

@MathMan5072 I keep bouncing around the 600s and low 700s. Feeling like I need to hit better to go further. I have noticed I take less pitches than my opponents. Think I will try to be more patient and see if that helps me score more consistently. I've been having a lot of fun. If you dont have Joe Morgan, I'd recommend trying him out. Hes a force. I've been blown away by his exit velocities

I’m sitting at 795 right now. Played one game today, was lucky to run into a guy that wasn’t very good and pulled out the win. Couldn’t hit anything so stopped after the one game. The grind through the 800s is going to be super tough. I don’t have high hopes.

I have played the show since 15. I have mostly been an offline player until this year. I decided to try my hand at online. Found out I’m not good lol. I just above .500. I am a game away from CS for the first time.
    I feel the struggle.

After every loss I always tell myself I’m going to be more patient. I forget that it’s okay to take a strike when it’s not the pitch you’re looking for. After a loss today I messaged the other guy and said I wish I could take pitches like he does.

Better to be at 795 than 695. Good luck. One game at a time. Give some hope to me and these other guys.

The game is impossible when your pitcher decides to hang BP no matter your input. Such BS.

You better hit or you are done. The end.

I'm the same way. I feel like I need to prove to somebody that I can cover the whole strike zone. So I try and end up making weak contact or missing a bunch of pitches and bumping up the pitchers confidence lol. I may try cbrev's method of picking three guys who dont swing until 1 strike, 3 guys who swing after strike 2, and 3 guys who go up hacking
