Wait a minute. I thought we were intentionally not suppose to know how this stuff works?
Jeez man hush

Why is everything identical to last year except the vision? 10 lower? Did Chipper strike out more since last year? Please fix the typo.
For Signature Series cards, vision is not calculated the same as it was last year.
Thank you for the swift reply.
Does vision affect the timing window?
Essentially yes. It allows for an elite hitter to make contact with worse timing then say an average hitter with that same timing.
Thanks for addressing this Victor! When you say “make contact”, do you mean “put in play” or “foul off”?
Basically, does high vision widen the “good” and “perfect” windows in which batters can put the ball in play? Or does it just widen the “very early/late” window which allows batters to foul a ball off? Or both?

Well said. I’d like to know the answer to this as well

I am still wondering why the signature chipper has lower power vs L than the 94 chipper? I thought signature cards were a combination of the players best seasons. So highest speed best contact and best power from any of the seasons played. I guess either they changed the formula or the 94 has stats that are made up and not accurate?

Also if I understand vision it depends on how you set up your pci. Contact affects the size of the inner circle and vision affects the size of the outer circle. Most say vision doesn’t matter but for me I keep the inner circle off and the center off and only use the outer circle. With this setup high vision guys have a huge outer circle. I know most people don’t do this but it works well for me. Nearly everyone in my lineup is batting over 400 and I make ws every season. Not elite but certainly above average so to say vision doesn’t matter isn’t the case for everyone. Plus this setup on legend makes it feel like I’m still playing on all star.
interesting

Pretty obvious reason why they dinged his vision.

That’s the answer I was looking for. Ty SDS. But try to explain your game better next year during a stream lol.
