So with that new Soto that just got announced, what’s the best OF possible?
-
The best outfield includes Soto on the bench
-
Wow... when you compare the stats for LF Ted Williams ($400K) with this Soto card, they are almost identical.
-
I think I had 90+ hrs between his fotf and live series card.....yeah his swing is money

Hope the swing sucks, that is a joke when you give a current guy who has played a couple years That card And the legends we have to pay a zillion stubs for become useless.
Sorry to burst your bubble but unless they would change it, he’s got one of the sweetest swings in the game

This is going to be my issue. Huge fan of Ted (and Boston is my team)
Ted has an amazing swing and I know Soto does too. I think I might need to put Soto on the bench with Mantle.
-
Sotto, Trout, Griffey. With Mantle and Walker on the bench I'm pretty happy with the options for my outfield.

Obviously his defense is a little sus, but in LF it won’t matter too much. Personally I’ll be running:
Soto in LF
Trout in CF
Mantle in RFI’ll likely just sell Griffey now
I should have Griffey by Friday.....it's a no-brainer for me to sell him.
I have the HRD Griffey and he's been great. Scratched that "itch", don't need this one now.
-
Thank god I stocked up on Jeff McNeil cards for the Braves and Nats exchange.
-
Won’t matter because I suck at hitting
-
Does defense matter? For me, I like Soto's swing. I think I am going Soto, Griffey, Trout. I hate the shift on Griffey though.

Yeah, just compared him to Ruth and realllllly not much of a difference there. I might even say Soto has the edge.....I’m a local DC nats fan, but cmon.....
-
Soto, Trout, Mantle for me. Walker and Cobb to the bench.
-
Soto will be off the bench. That bronze defense will cost you games now that everyone has such a stacked team.
-
Griffey starts in Lf ( one of my fav players). Soto will be 1st lefty bat off bench (if I hit well with him)

I fully agree. That d is terrible. He’s a lefty bench bat tho

Dude, Sotto is the best
-
Everyone is saying his defense is bad. Yet he has no secondary penalty for playing LF. That 84 reaction isn’t bad. It’s on par for others with secondary penalties.
Centerfield all that matters for defense. Just like real baseball. Put your best CF defense wise and let that guy handle your outfield.
-
Honestly I can't believe I'm saying this but it's probably gonna be Mays in left, Mantle in center, Griffey in right...Which means 99 Trout is getting benched. I know it sounds crazy but lately I just can't hit with him. In the last month or so my average went from .350 to .210. I can't be biased towards him just cause everyone else is good, cause I'm not, so he's benched.
-
Soto, Mantle, Griffey imo
