My guess on when we get Mays

I do not think we will be getting Willie Mays this year.
Releasing him this late in the game would make little sense. The only ones really left are us die-hards and if you doubt me look at the message board, even the board is really slow.
With a dwindling player base, the release of PS5 and the X-Box Series X next month.
The gaming world's attention will be on the next gen hoopla (justifiably so) .
Why even release him?My guess is that he will be one of the Level 100 players next year.
He will not be an early inning boss, because the only Mays the community will accept at this point is a 99 OVR and we did not get our first 99 OVR inning bosses until the 5th inning.So what way to generate interest, especially early on with the introduction of not only next gen but cross platform as well.
SDS will have a chance to "double dip" major legends early in the game if the collection reward is Clemente, Aaron or Jeter.
The player base will go insane having Mays and one of those three available early on. -

Yep. New season starts Monday. He’s my guess for it.

I’m sure we’re getting Mays. We just now got Griffey. We just got Pujols a couple days ago. Endgame cards are still coming and more are on the way.
I’m guessing either WS or he might be a reward for collecting all TA4 (or, more specifically, I suspect there will be vouchers at the end of each team’s path. That way, you can’t get the reward just from buying all the TA4 cards off the market. You would actually have to finish all 30 programs 100%).
I would be shocked off my Yankee Doodle if SDS dropped all that loot to get his rights in 2019 and then didn’t use him again in 2020.

He is gonna be the World Series reward on whatever day it comes out and I hate SDS for it. I just wanted an accessible Willie Mays this year.

If we’re guessing other possible WS rewards, I’m also waiting on the final versions of Eddie Murray, Dennis Eckersley, Left-Handed Grove, Dale Murphy, and Cy Young. Just to name a few.

They’re going to 12 innings this year. But my guess is the 11th inning will be Finest again, and I don’t think there were bosses in the final program last year so the 11th may be it for the 300* bosses. And if it is finest, then really Griffey might have been it for legends as program bosses this year.

Yeah, that's just ludicrous. They're paying for his rights; there's no way he won't get a 99 this year. It's not like Niekro who they still have the rights to, but won't release into the game because of too many people crying. It's actually the complete opposite of Niekro, where everyone is chomping at the bit to get him in game.
