where do you think Arozarena is going to get upgraded to in the roster update on friday?? Just curious

I can’t imagine he jumps from bronze to diamond. Especially since he’ll get a 99 postseason card anyway. I bet he jumps to just below it though, like 83 or 84 gold range.

I'd say high gold (83-84) or low diamond (85-86) are the most likely outcomes.

We've seen players skip silver all together in a single update. Him jumping to diamond after 4 weeks isn't exactly unexpected with the trend of roster updates. A single good week was enough to get you a significant bump, i can't imagine what an entire month does. Not to mention he set records during this post season.

Yes but you’re talking about skipping silver and gold. Anything is possible I guess but a 10+ level jump seems like a lot.

Never going diamond. When Judge was a rookie and beat the record for HR’s in a season by a rookie, he still ended up just going gold. No way Randy goes diamond

In a typical season when roster updates are handled normally, I'd agree. But not this year, I could definitely see it happening.

Likely this. I don't think anyone has every debuted and gone Diamond in the same year. He may start high gold/low diamond next year but unless SDS throws their precedents into the trash then I think he sits 83 or 84.

Judge started as a common in 17. Also I was a firm believer in rookies will never go diamond until the next season (As seager, Judge, and Alonso did), but Devin Williams went diamond as a rookie this season. I don’t think Randy will go diamond either, likely 83 or 84, but it is certainly possible

I guess you’re right. I’ll counter with Williams had an entire great season whereas Arozerena had a great 6 weeks

I bought a ton when they were 200-300 stubs and few around 800. I have been thinking about trying to cash some out now, but the greed that there is a slim possibility of diamond has kept me from doing it.
