Others had some good posts today about Frank Robinson, only player to be MVP in both AL and NL. I like him for a 10th inning boss along with Don Newcombe, only pitcher to win rookie of the year, CY Young and MVP, and Fernando Valenzuela, only pitcher to be rookie of year and Cy Young in same season and a former Dodger who would be a nice fit with LA being in the World Series this year. All three fit the one-of-a-kind description.

Uh, Robinson and Valenzuela aren't in the game, and as far as I know neither is Newcombe. We'd all love a Johnson, Martinez, or a Clemens to be in the game too, but they just aren't.
