Universal DH has been the talk of MLB as some people would agree as it working in this season. So once MLB officially approved universal DH, you think SDS would put it in DD? You have great cards like award JD Martinez or Topps Now Yordan but their defense kinda sucks so you would be forced to bench and wait until the late innings to put them one time. I believe they should put universal DH in DD next game.

If MLB sticks with it next year id expect SDS to do it to. They already expressed the only reason they didn't this year was it would effect save files for franchise and such

They will do whatever MLB does. Would kinda make our benches useless if they do though. Would take a lot away from the game.

Honestly adding a dh is the least of their worries. Secondly it doesn’t make the bench useless, if you need defensive switches or getting the right match up in late game situations. Just means you can swing away instead of trying not to hit into a double play

In reality, it would just become about having platoon players on your bench. Which imo isn't that good, because it's already a nightmare to pitch, but I know a lot of people are more concerned with offense, which is fine.
