Speed and defense in the outfield are very important and Gary might cost you more runs playing in the OF then he will at 3rd.
You could always snag 98 TN Buxton whose got very similar stats to Robert. Even 99 TN Trea Turner can play center with 99 speed and at least 80 and above attributes for defense and hes 13k.
If you got the money you could always get Cobb whose probably one of the best OF in the game - even with a 73 arm or whatever.
Ok. I will just put him at third.

Thoughts?Im biased but I loved his card. His D and speed are legit and his swing reminds me a lot like trouts. I only moved on from him because i dont use the same players forever im always changing up. I use Ted, Trout, and Harper mainly in the OF

The 99 Robert is great, he's been worth every stub I spent for him (I got him for 75k which was a steal) I've mostly used him off the bench but he does it all and I love speed with power at my leadoff spot.

That is what I want, but not Trout.
I don't have him yet. lol
I RAKED with his 90, going 4-5 in leadoff home runs, with 3 games in a row. I think I will get him, once I have enough stubs. -

Agreed!! Thats why i think they should have multiple events going at all times so we can use all these cards we collect

He's good enough to get to bunts and those little dribblers to third and his arm strength is a huge asset there, too. For whatever reason this year, fielding just doesn't seem all that important at third. As long as you have the arm strength, you're golden -- at least, in my opinion.

Personally, I prefer Trout in center, Mantle in left; and I platoon Larry Walker and Luis Robert in right. Robert is one of the few primary CFs that maintains his diamond defense at a secondary position.
