Ill give ya another great tip. Play during the day and early evening if you can. The creatures of the night come out late at night and you will get crushed. Late night I work on moments and programs

It’s funny you mention this, as this is a tenet I fully subscribe to. I try not to play late at night or on Sunday as all the casuals are asleep or watching football, only the diehards are left, and I get crushed!

Im playing the event alot and I'll have games where I can't hit too well and will lose 6 in a row. Recently I had a lucky streak where I had like 3 wins in 5 games. I switched to The show 16 view for a few games, hit better, and then back to SZ1 where I was hitting a bit better. Now I'm back to losing every game. I've been stuck at 43 wins in this event for.... 8 or 9 games now? These forced hanging pitches are killing me.
Every day I've been on the verge of quitting this game. I dont think I'm buying 21.

Grip it and rip it if it's in the strike zone this year with power button has been the meta all year.

Those losing streaks really feel awful don't they? Sometimes everything just goes wrong but that is a pretty extreme streak you're probably just about to start steam rolling W's.

im telling you man. Ive only played about 110 RS games this year and this is by far the worse. I thought I had a win last night but he gets his first hit in the seventh and 8th inning hes goes off for 4 runs. Another L

Apparently, the answer to hitting is to get a gaming monitor. Just bought an Asus TUF Gaming vg249, and wow, I can’t believe I was making low 700s on my laggy tv. The difference is incredible. In two games and 92 plate appearances (a small sample size, sure), I hit .309/.369/.559. A bit pricey, but so worth it.

I played ranked and got a rage quit, so I move to the event. I couldn’t touch a fastball to save my life. In ranked I was killing bob gibson, but in the event I was late on Keyshawn’s fastball. It felt like 2 different games.

Your hitting approach has to do with your mental approach. You have to learn patience at bats in order to give you a chance to be successful learn to take pitches don’t be afraid to take strikes. Addition to that you have to pick up on your opponent Tendencies what does he like to throw when he is ahead in the count or behind. You will be Surprise that he will fall into a patterning in the way he Sequences his pitches. You have to find out what pitch you can hit in his pitch Repertoire and single out that pitch to hit. But the best advice I can give you that I heard from top players is practice practice and practice!!!! Go to batting practice and play on legend and increase the pitch speeds. Do that before you Play a RG at least 15 mins it will help. Get many Reps the more Reps the better.

Looking at all the high ERAs and batting averages, it seems like a lot of games are slugfests,, yet i find myself getting constantly bogged down on 1-0, 2-1, 2-0 games (those are hit totals btw). I am struggling to hit above .230. Outside of anything technological (input lag and connection isn’t the issue, outside of the standard pvp lag as the away team), does anybody have any tips? Thanks all
