Gossage yes. Totally worth the stubs but his price should drop a little bit over the next week or as more people get 50 wins. Jansen, I have him and will keep him for the event until Dodgers are eliminated but he'll be sold. Not impressed and with the same arsenal as Rivera one of the 2 becomes redundant imo and I prefer Rivera.

How many of you would bet on a card going from gold or diamond, for example, and rather than buying as many as you could just put in a boatload of bids for well under going rate? When I figured a player like Seager was about to be bumped I would bids for 1000. Knowing that enough people would sell to highest bidder thus losing 4100 stubs they would get from QS. Method worked much better at lower tiers.

Once the roster update hits, I will have more, but for now, @TheHungryHole is donating food to me. 🙂

I've got 2.8m, which will basically just be used for anyone I find interesting, I already have guys like 99 Billy Wagner, 99 Alomar, all the inning bosses etc, I'm hoping this BR reward is exciting to give me a reason to spend.

640K right now. Another 200K if I don't lock in for Mondesi and Ramirez. And probably another 100-150K that can be liquidated from Golds waiting to see how the last roster update goes when it drops.

What price would you say makes sense for Gossage. He's obviously an end game closer.

2 million, but I'm testing some expensive cards that I will probably sell again so probably 5 million.

Holy SHIIIIT!!! I recently had 800k. That’s the most I’ve ever had......in 5 years of playing this game.

He'll probably stay close to where he is at now. I don't see him dropping below 300K for the following reasons:

    1. Like you said, End Game and people who got him already will keep him.

    2. People are stub rich with nothing left to buy.

    3. If the next Event is Stadium-Locked to Minute Maid Park (known for horrendous lag online); not many people who don't have him will play (unless they're 5-10 games away) which means they'll just buy him if they want him.

On a side note; I'm debating if I want to buy him myself and Ive only played 5 TOTAL Event games since he's been released.

That's my issue as well. It's not a?question of Gossages being good or not, its at what price do you bit the bullet and grab him.

There are two ways to look at that.

    1. Buy him now and get to use him NOW and if he drops; you paid a premium to use him longer.

    2. Wait for him to drop and take the chance that he stays stagnant in price, or even increases once the event is over; and you lose out of playing with him.

Me personally; I can't seem to pull the trigger on a pitcher for over 200K. But I know he won't drop that low.

Decide what you think he is worth and go from there.

Also, I would think if you could buy him now and still have half of what you had before; it's worth it.

Heck, I'd have to see his margins; but he may be a 'high risk - high reward' flip.

5 mil, and every card on the market except for some rib cards (I like conquest, and I'm not going to pay for it, if I can get it for free).

Still working the market though; I enjoy relieving people of their stubs.

If 90% of players understood the math and had an ounce of patience it would be impossible to flip.

But then where would we be at.

Sitting on 827k and that is the most i’ve ever had by a lot. At this point, just waiting for Pujols to come down or a high end Finest card.
