Bunt Cheesin’ to the WS!

Just played a WS player. He has 100 wins over .500 so I know he’s good, but I’d give it a shot.
I was winning. Surprisingly, this guy isn’t squaring anything up and going after low off speed. He’s only geared to hit FB. I can manage this! Pitching great and confusing him to where he can’t do much.
Then he started laying down bunts.
Pitcher confidence gone, he inevitably hits a bomb to go ahead. I rage quit.
That’s it folks. I can’t beat them, so I’m putting together my own bunt cheese team. So sick of this game.
Watch out. I’m now one of them.
We all know as soon as a man gets on base you have a 50% chance of giving up a bomb.
Garbage online play. SDS please fix this.

It's very easy to counter bunt cheesers though. Play the 2B in and the 3B to cover a drag and you're all set. Nobody will bunt his way on base. You're welcome.

If you put on the pre set up bunt defensive alignment you'll fail miserably and remain vulnerable to the bunt. The key is to play the 2B in, as I mentioned before, the bunt defensive alignment doesn't do that for you. You have to do that manually and for your 2B only. The 1B will stay straight up around his bag so you won't get blooped on any more than normal. The 2B can still get back in time in case of a bloop as well.
But by all means go ahead and get shut down by people who do know how to use what I just told you.

Bro I legit was in a game yesterday tied 0-0 going in to the eighth. I’m squaring up some good pitches but go no where. He had no hits up until this point. Nolan struck him out 15 times and walked 4. Two of the walks came in the eighth and then he hits a bomb and wins 3-0. Had 1 hit the entire game. I couldn’t play anymore after that

you know what buddy i have done a couple of sac RBI's too with the pitcher - thats the only time ill bunt for sure and even then its dicey gotta be smart with the pitch if the opponent knows how to pitch to bunters - its such a crapshoot i always wind up preferring to swing even with circle
