Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if there was some sort of reward for collecting all TA cards. I doubt it would be for Griffey though

I’ve got every TA card, I enjoy the grind. At least we know what we are getting, unreal defense in showdown

I don’t think so unless they put the FOTF in packs. At most there is only a 1 to 1 ratio for each of those cards. Some have been locked in without any intention of ever getting any others. Some people bought them and have no intention of playing this game again. There just isn’t enough supply. I can see collecting some of these as part of a bigger collection, but not all of them.

I think collecting these cards will give you 10 affinity in TA4 the same way the ls collection gave 10 in TA1.

I’ve locked them all in myself. So, this wouldn’t bother me. But, that would be ridiculous.

Agree here that idea doesn’t seem likely. I believe SDS noted at relate that it wasn’t the intent that these would just be grinds where you get every team. They wanted people to chase their favorite team(s), so putting someone like Griff there would cause a bit of dissent with the community I imagine.

Also, there is too many stubs in circulation for Griffey, Mays, or Chipper to be a BR reward. The community would walk away in droves.

It would just be a race to see who gets their order in first and Not enough lifers grinding BR anymore.

From here on out it should be minimal grind and try to keep the community engaged. I know I have one foot out the door. Can’t be alone.

Let us start grinding ranked. Release the rest in a way we can actually play ranked and not all this offline garbage.

Nah, I think 99 Griffey's gonna be easier to get than that. They've released 2 Diamond Griffeys already, one was a WS reward and the other is the HR Derby Collection reward. I don't see them dropping another Griffey that's gonna take a lot of stubs, or massive grind to obtain, or just be available to a small portion of the player base.

Maybe a continuation of the All Timers Program, where division games are 9 innings, and MLB team games are 6 innings, with him as the final reward. Or he's one of the final Inning bosses.

I rake with Griffey's 98 HRD card so if I'm already doing great with that one, really no need for me to have his 99.
