PS4 vs. PS4 Pro
-
I read a post that alluded to this being a possible issue and I never thought about it before. I have an original PS4, I believe these run at 30fps. The Pro's run at 60FPS.
Does anyone know how this affects games like The Show? I know there is some difference in first person shooters, and if you have anything running in the background that uses processing power (like updates or downloads) this can affect frame drop etc.
Bottom line, do those playing on a PS4 Pro have an advantage?

That would be a big fat YES! It affects on-line play. I have the issue myself and am running a regular PS4. If you play against someone with a Pro, the ball appears to be much faster and is much harder to catch up to when hitting. It really isn't fair getting paired up in match where someone has the advantage on, but nothing we can really do about it. I'll just keep grinding away and if the game gets out of hand, I'll just quit and take the loss.

There's no advantage, save your money for the PS5

Wasn't planning on buying a pro, but running at a faster frame rate won't help recognize pitches and smooth out the incoming pitch?
