Showdown difficulty

I wish I could choose to play showdown on a higher difficulty... I’m struggling on veteran because the pitch speeds are so slow and the pci is too big, I’m getting nothing but good/good fly outs.... I hit way better offline on hall of fame and legend, and I wish we could choose to play on a higher difficulty, maybe something they could add next year... I agree with them having veteran as a minimum, but say I want to play on a higher difficulty with faster pitch speeds I could... Just an idea.

They should set it up somewhat like mto where you get to choose your difficulty and have a different amount of TA points depending on your chosen difficulty. Here’s the kicker, make it actually play like the difficulty you chose rather than messing with the sliders.

That there is the problem. It’s not the difficulty, but the sliders tweaked which makes it so challenging. When you get four or five balls to start an at bat on rookie, you know the game is not really on rookie.

And when you have to hit on rookie they make it were the PCI doesnt extend past the strike zone at all. So even on pitches just off the plate that you could crush, or just high or low, you cannot because, its on rookie.

Just lost due to 6 double plays, Hanley rameriz is better then 99 tatis in this show down. He runs like a world class sprinter. Ive never failed a showdown in two attempts. I’m on attempt 5, I’ve lost 15-15 4 times

It really sucks when you see you had good swing timing everytime, but no contact. On Extreme, the last two are NOT on Hall of Fame, they are somewhere between Legend and "the next level" which no one has seen. I can destroy the CPU on Legend, but not on Hall of Fame against Pearson. Where your Perfect Contact always lays in the hands of fielders or in the catchers mit. I've spent way into the hundreds of thousands of stubs and am giving up on it. I probably could buy all the Bosses from the amounts I've spent. I laugh at the people that say Extreme is too easy. It's all bullsh at the end of the day and only rewards certain players that have done more than you in terms of progress.
