I'll wait for him to fall in price, very nice addition to the bullpen though.
Yep. Mine will consist of 99 Gossage (at some point), 97 Chapman, 97 Wade Davis, 94 Lee Smith and the new Crochet (White Sox RP). Holy [censored].
If all goes to plan i want to add Rivera either when his price comes down or in the 11th inning, Hoffman when i eventually get to him in the Babe Ruth program, that would make my bullpen
Rivera 99
Gossage 99
Gagne 98
Chapman 97
Henke 97
Hoffman 96
And either Fingers 96 or Crochet 96
Not to mention i also have Dibble, Betances, McGee and DavisI don't even care that i don't have the 99 overall Wagner anymore.
Many people have said that 96 Crochet is basically a free version of 99 Wagner anyways.
Not so much, Crotchet is hard to control. And his fastball is readable.
Speaking of his control, his change/curve is definitely super ez to float over the middle of the plate. Just something to look out for, in my limited 1 day experience of throwing him out there. He's still a goon and will be in my pen 100%.

Honestly, Hoffman is pretty terrible in the higher ranks. Idk if you care about that, but once you're facing someone good who won't swing at that circle change trash, he'll get killed.

I don't play online much but thats good to know so thank you. Honestly Hoffman and Wagner are just nostalgia for me and i don't need them in my bullpen.

Agree, Hoffman is who I have as my CP right now and he usually does well until the CPU hitters decide to make him work.
I typically throw a high and inside circle change to get 'em, right on the black near the corner. Works more often than I expected.

Great that he's in the game, but as an offline player, I'm just bummed about this. He'll be going for 850k or more in the market, just like Puljols. I'll never be able to afford such great cards.
At least I can hopefully get cards from previous programs I missed (David Ortiz, etc) when they come out with the 11th inning program.
He’ll never get anywhere close to 850k on the market. This is a playable event. There will be gluttonous amount of this card out there. My guess is he’ll top out between 50-80k.
You're right that he's an event reward, so there's going to be a lot of him. But at the same time, everyone is going to want him. He's not going to stay at a mil, but I can't see him ever going as low as 80, especially when stubs are so plentiful. I see him going between 150 - 200, but I've been wrong before.

I don’t know bud, he can be had for free and the event is actually playable, unlike the last one. I guess we’ll see. And if that’s the case I might just sell him because of the strength of my bullpen all he would be is just another fireballer that will eventually be unusable due to everyone having him.

I'm going back and forth on getting him or not. I already have 97 Wade Davis, 94 Lee Smith and 97 Chapman in my bull pen and don't want just all flame throwers either. I want a nice mixture of those who are deadly breaking ball relief pitchers and flame throwers.

Goose will stay very expensive , especially with 6 innings games and the elite players in the game

See I already have 99 Rivera, 98 Gagne, 97 Wade Davis, 94 Lee Smith, 97 Chapman, 96 Hoffman and 94 Wagner in my pen so not sure Gossage is really needed.

Is he better for you than some of the listed relievers? Stubs are only a means to putting together your ultimate team.

I know what your saying. I don't think it would make my bull pen any better or worse either way. I actually love the diversity it has right now.

Hey, if you're happy with your team, that's all that matters then.

Start flipping. I make 200,000 stubs per day. So easy.
How the hell do you make that much. I've tried for 2 years and maybe make 10K a day at best.

Earlier when I focused on generating stubs I was pulling about 30-50k per hour... Mostly focusing on making around 1k a transaction. If you're only making 10k a day you're focusing on the wrong cards or doing it at the wrong time of the day.

Well to start, I made 300,000 stubs yesterday flipping Strasburg. You just have to be tenacious to be honest. It also helps to be unemployed so you have time to play the game and time to constantly be flipping csrds.

Thats not true, there are certain times of day where the market seems to be more active and prices are higher and times when its slow and prices are at their lowest.

I flip 24 hours a day. When the market crashes you actually make more money in long run.

When there are more people buying and selling you turn over cards faster. Hourly rate goes up.
