One aspect to add albeit with some correcting/ figuring out: trading in DD. MUT has trades possible, and tho some people are screwed out of players, you. can use a mod through reddit or on here, I think trades would be a fun addition. It would be tricky with locking in players maybe install a cap of 3 locked players traded per year or just not at all. Maybe someone has 3 trouts and would trade one for some world series reward they would never achieve that isnt out anymore etc. I know its not the best plan but I think it could be something

There would be an insane amount of people with "God Squads" within days. There's no limits to how many accounts you can create and get free packs within the game and just trade the good pulls over to your main account. It would be catastrophic to the in-game economy.

These first responses are only the beginning, my friend. Be prepared to be dragged over the coals for this post. Your proposal will not be a popular one.

I am pretty sure that SDS has said that trading cards in DD will never be a thing and i am confidant that the reasons @aparks87 mentioned are main reasons.

Just "trade" your unwanted cards for stubs and "trade" your unwanted stubs for cards in the marketplace.

I have three accounts. Just on the shark map alone, and the luck I had with packs, I'd have every card in the game if I were allowed to trade.

SDS has already figured out the best way to offer “fair” trades. If I take Cobb in the 8th and then a week later, I realize I want Pudge, I can “trade” Cobb on the market for roughly the same number of stubs as pudge. I know it’s not a perfect system (BR rewards and WS rewards are disproportionately expensive), but I don’t see how they can do it any better than that.

The market is literally the same thing as trading. I have these cards I can sell that gives me enough stubs to buy the card I want, exact same as trading those same cards to someone to get the card you want.

Plus your example is the worst possible example you could of come up with. Three trouts for a WS reward card? I will gladly make that trade if you want haha
